About Buffel Beton

Buffel Beton was established in 2005 by husband-and-wife team Karin and Janus Marx, who still proudly serve as the company’s founders and co-owners. What began as a small operation has grown into a trusted name in the manufacturing, supply, and transport of quality building materials across the region.

From our main site in Koedoeskop, where our dedicated Office Manager Triene Cunningham ensures smooth day-to-day operations, to our expanded site in Thabazimbi (opened on 1 December 2017), Buffel Buffel continues to grow while staying true to our values of integrity, hard work, and community.

We manufacture and supply a wide range of products, including:

• Cement bricks, face bricks, clay bricks, maxi bricks, and paving.

• River sand, building sand, plaster sand, 13/19mm stone, and crusher dust.

Our brick manufacturing is backed by reliable formulas and verified through test reports from Civil Engineering Testing Laboratories, ensuring that every product meets high standards of strength and durability.

We are proud to create a healthy and stable work environment - with some employees having been part of the Buffel Beton family since the very beginning in 2005. Both our Koedoeskop and Thabazimbi sites are fully equipped to continue operations even during loadshedding or power outages, ensuring uninterrupted service for our clients.
